About Me

I became a celebrant because I believe in love. Not just the fairytale kind, but the real kind - the love that holds us through our highest highs and our deepest losses. The kind that stays when everything else falls away.

I’ve known love that made me feel more alive than I ever thought possible. I’ve felt the joy of connection, the quiet safety of being seen, and the deep peace of knowing you are not alone. But I’ve also known heartbreak. I’ve lived through grief. I’ve sat in the silence that follows loss and felt how love doesn't end - it just changes form.

Those moments shaped me. They opened my heart in a way that never fully closed again.

And it’s from that place - of lived love, real loss and deep compassion - that I became a celebrant.

For me, it’s about presence.  It’s about standing beside people during life’s most powerful moments - beginnings, endings, and everything in between - and gently helping them find the words, the rituals and the space to honour what matters most.

When I write a ceremony, I’m not just telling a story.  I’m holding a heart.  I’m listening for the love - where it lives, how it moves, who it connects.  Whether it’s a wedding, a farewell, a vow renewal or a naming ceremony, my job is to help you feel seen, understood and celebrated - exactly as you are.

I know how much it means to feel held in life’s big moments. To feel that someone understands the depth of what you’re feeling - the joy, the nerves, the pain, the pride - and can meet you there with tenderness, strength and care.

Because love is everything.  It’s the reason we gather.  It’s what we grieve when someone is gone.  It’s what we promise when we say “I do.” It’s what we pass on when we welcome a new life.

I do this work because I want to honour love in all its forms - loud or quiet, new or lasting, joyful or aching with memory.  Love is always at the centre.

And to be trusted to hold that - even for a moment - is the deepest honour you can trust me with.

I want to celebrate people - their love, their stories, their lives
